Franklin, TN. December 11, 2015. Winners have been announced in Capella Healthcare’s Second Annual Children’s Holiday Art Contest. The winning art is featured on Capella’s annual holiday card.

The Grand Prize was awarded to:1

  • Caitlin Woltman, 12 year-old daughter of Dr. Todd Woltman at Capital Medical Center, whose art is featured on the cover of Capella’s holiday card this year.

There were two runner-ups for the Grand Prize, whose art is featured inside the card and on the envelope.  They include:

  • Isabella Aitken, 9 year-old daughter of Tina Aitken, RN, of National Park Medical Center
  • Matthew Hazzard, 7 year-old son of Jennifer Hazzard, RN, of Southwestern Medical Center

Each year, Capella Healthcare associates are invited to enter holiday art drawn by their children or grandchildren. The contest is open to employees, volunteers and medical staff members. Art was to reflect one of the following themes:

  • “Healthcare and the holidays”
  • “Helping others during the holidays”
  • “What the holidays mean to me”

“It’s so inspiring and heart-warming to see the wonderful art created by the children and grandchildren of our associates.  And, the result is a completely unique card that we hope brings a smile to the faces of all of receive it,” said Beth B. Wright, SVP-Corporate Communities and Strategic Marketing.  “We will also be featuring the winning photos as well as a few others on Capella’s Twitter site (@CapellaHealth) and LinkedIn page throughout December,” she said.
