Rodney Van Donkelaar Named Chief Financial Officer For Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center
May 29, 2015Hartsville, SC. May 29, 2015. – Rodney Van Donkelaar has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center, effective June 1, according to Tim Browne, Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Having worked in hospital financial leadership roles for more than 15 years, Van Donkelaar brings significant experience to his new position. He comes to Hartsville from McMinnville, TN, where he served as Chief Financial Officer for River Park Hospital, also part of the Capella Healthcare family of hospitals. While there, he also served in a market leadership role for the Capella-Saint Thomas Health Network.
Van Donkelaar joined Capella in January 2006 as Controller of Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville, Oregon, and was promoted to CFO in 2008, serving facilities in Alabama and Tennessee.
Originally from Michigan, Van Donkelaar earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration majoring in accounting from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, MI. He and his wife, April, have two grown children: Tiffany who lives in Clarksville, TN, and Caleb who lives in Murfreesboro, TN.
