Capella Healthcare announces new staff members
June 13, 2014Franklin, TN. June 13, 2014 — Capella Healthcare has announced the hiring of several new staff members, including those for three newly created positions.
Steven Boyett has assumed a new position as Manager of Material Resource Operations, coming from Tenet Healthcare, formerly Vanguard Health Systems. His new position at Capella involves supporting hospital operations staff in supply chain optimization and capital budgeting as well as insuring appropriate training for various purchasing software programs.
Melissa Johnson has assumed a new position as Care Management Coordinator/Review Nurse. With more than 13 years experience as an RN in both clinical and corporate roles, she comes from Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL, where she served in a variety of roles including staff nurse, admissions and discharge coordinator, and Case Manager. She is a graduate of Wallace State College with an associate’s degree in nursing.
Marcie Mofield has assumed a new position as Director of Clinical Documentation Initiatives, joining Capella from CHS where she previously served the company as PHIIP Director with responsibility for up to 64 facilities. She is a graduate of Tennessee State University with an Associate in Nursing along with Board Examination and CCDS credentials.
Kristi Rudy is Senior Applications Analyst-MEDHOST Clinical Apps. For the past decade, she worked for Envision Health Resources where she directed Health Information Systems for six hospitals, twenty-plus physician practices, nursing homes and pharmacies. She graduated from MTSU with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems.
