Scott Bailey Appointed Chief Financial Officer for EASTAR Health System

MUSKOGEE, OK (August 12, 2013) – Scott Bailey has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for EASTAR Health System (EHS), effective September 3, according to Tony Young, Chief Executive Officer.
A proven leader with more than 25 years of experience, Bailey moves to Muskogee from Palmer, Alaska, where he has been serving as CFO for Mat Su Regional Medical Center since 2010. Prior to that, he was CFO for Ponca City Medical Center, in Oklahoma. Before that, he served in CFO positions for hospitals in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Colorado. In addition to his CFO experience, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Yuma Heart, Lung and Vascular Center in Arizona for three years.
Bailey earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and his master’s degree in business administration, both from Phillips University in Enid, OK.

Bailey has been active in the communities where he has served, having volunteered with the Boys Club and Big Brother Big Sister programs. He’s also served on the board for Habitat for Humanity, The Opportunity Center and the Art Center.
Bailey will be joined in Muskogee by his fiancée Vanessa and their three boys. His hobbies include fly fishing, skiing and hiking.
