Jim Davidson Named Chief Operating Officer for EASTAR Health System

James (Jim) F. Davidson has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for EASTAR Health System, effective Monday, January 7, according to Kevin Fowler, Chief Executive Officer.
Davidson comes from Vanguard Health System where he served as COO at Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park, Illinois. Previously, he served as Vice President of Ancillary and Support Services for Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. His healthcare leadership experience includes numerous process improvements, employee engagement and patient satisfaction initiatives, and oversight of facility renovations.
Davidson earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in healthcare administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. Additionally, he holds a Certificate in Radiology Technology from Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana. He and his wife Julie have two children, Abby and Megan, and two grandchildren.
