Chris Jepsen Named Chief Nursing Officer for Mineral Area Regional Medical Center

Chris Jepsen has been appointed Chief Nursing Officer at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington, MO, effective January 2, according to Lynn Mergen, Chief Executive Officer.
Jepsen has more than 30 years of nursing experience, 16 of which have been at the CNO level. She brings a strong background of medical/surgical management as well as significant experience in quality management.
She comes to Mineral Area most recently from Tampa, FL, where she was the CNO of Town & Country Hospital, a 201-bed acute medical/surgical hospital. Among her accomplishments there was guiding the organization through a full CMS survey, developing a 16-bed PCU to meet physicians’ needs, redesigning and launching a bariatric program, and leading the hospital’s transition to electronic medical records.
