Farmington, MO – Mineral Area Regional Medical Center (MARMC) has been named a 2011 Excellence through lnsight award recipient in the category of “Overall Physician Satisfaction” by HealthStream Research, the research business group of HealthStream, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSTM).  A formal presentation of the award will be made during HealthStream’s Client Summit on May 5, 2011, in Nashville, Tennessee. Specifically, the hospital is being honored for “Most Improved Overall Physician Satisfaction” in the medium hospital category.

To qualify for an award, a hospital must have been a medical staff satisfaction client of HealthStream Research in 2010, scored at least in the 75^th percentile or higher, and conducted a minimum of 50 physician surveys.  MARMC was chosen for showing the most improvement in medical staff satisfaction from among HealthStream Research’s clients, as well as exceeding industry standards.
