Capella Healthcare Appoints Benjamin J. Ross As Vice-President, Physician Services

Franklin, TN. – Capella Healthcare has announced the appointment of Benjamin J. Ross as Vice President of Physician Services, effective Monday, November 14, according to Michael Wiechart, Chief Operating Officer.
“Ben brings an outstanding range of experience that will serve Capella well as we continue to grow,” Wiechart said. “Our Physician Services division plays a vital role in working with our hospitals to help us achieve our mission of providing the highest quality of patient care. Our future success is contingent upon recruiting and retaining physicians who meet the needs of our communities.”
Ross comes to Capella from Essent Healthcare, Inc., Nashville, where he has been Vice-President of Physician Services since 2008. Prior to that, he was Administrator of a multi-specialty physician practice in Columbia, South Carolina. He also served as a Division Director at Providence Northeast, a Sisters of Charity Providence Hospitals, also in Columbia.
Ross earned his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and his Masters Degree in Health Administration from University of South Carolina in Columbia.
